Richmond

We have been working on this project in phases whilst the family have been in residence since 2013. We started with the master bedroom and en suite, refurbishing throughout, furnishing and adding Sonos and air conditioning. The next phase was the sitting room with new joinery, surround sound and furnishings, followed by one of the children’s bedrooms, who gave us the brief of green and orange, so we came up with the idea of the Mondrian wall, following the theme through to wall boxes, a desk and roman blind. The kitchen and family area were next, where we designed joinery integrating the vertical fire, lighting, flooring, window treatments, designing the sofa to suit the space, furnishings and colour scheme. We created a den for the other teenager as a gaming/music room, giving it a comfortable cabin like feel with horizontal oak veneered joinery to tie in with the wood effect wallpaper. At the same time we refurbished his bedroom and the annexe guest bedroom and bathroom. We have now finished the final phase; an office for the wife and one for the husband and another guest bedroom. We have really enjoyed working with these clients. We would create a scheme and then they just let us get on with it and put up with the noise and commotion whilst they went about their daily lives.

Just when we thought we had completed the final phase of this project, the clients commissioned the refurbishment of one of the son’s bathrooms, which now looks super sumptuous and manly using blue/green vertical tiles on the walls and bronze floor tiles with matt black and brushed brass bathroom fittings.
