These clients contacted us before lockdown and several months later we were finally able to meet up and view their house.

The house had been refurbished by a developer several years earlier and lacked attention to detail and quality of build. As we worked with the clients the project grew. Initially just bespoke joinery, into a full refurbishment of several rooms. The lighting was an important factor, which we totally changed with some gorgeous new light fittings from Porta Romana, Vaughan, Heathfield and John Cullen. We installed new cornice and skirting, which had been copied from the original Edwardian found in a neighbours house; that had sadly been ripped out of theirs. Parquet floor was installed throughout the ground floor to create a seamless look and a much larger opening between the rear of the house and hall with Crittall doors to let the light flood in. These clients were a joy to work with, despite the fact the entire family were working from home and home schooling at the time.
