We gave the existing kitchen extension a new lease of life, by removing a pillar in the centre of the area and recessing the exposed beams into the floor above, so creating a seamless flow to the new ceiling. Our joiner created a beautiful handmade kitchen with oak lining and we worked closely with the clients to accommodate their every need; such as cocktail cabinet, ‘man drawer’ and breakfast area. There is even a nod to the copper industry in which one of the clients works by way of the copper pendant lights (he says every fashionable house should have them!). New oak flooring and decorated throughout the ground floor of the house. A new fireplace in the sitting room. The finishing touch was a striking striped stair runner from Roger Oates adding impact when you walk into the house. We have now completed phase 2 for these clients, being a renovation of an office for the husband, a new family bathroom and a guest bedroom. The clients are delighted with everything we have done.
